Preparation Note
This PT sample is provided as a 2 ml concentrate.
The solvent for this sample is water.
The PT sample has been autoclaved for preservation.
Sample Preparation
All constituents are present in soluble form.
1) Partially fill a 1000mL volumetric flask with reagent-grade water (near 20ºC).
2) Open ampoule PE2060-2ML (be careful to avoid cuts on glass) and transfer 1.0mL of concentrate to the volumetric flask.
3) Fill the flask to volume with reagent-grade water and mix well.
The sample is now ready for immediate analysis.
Sealed ampules were autoclaved to preserve the solutions inside. This preservation treatment is not effective after the ampule is opened. Therefore the sample should be analyzed as soon as possible after sample preparation following the preservation and holding times as specified in the method.
