Preparation Note
This ampule contains a concentrate for preparation of a solution that can be analyzed for Cyanide Amenable to Chlorination.
The sample contains both simple and complex cyanides.
This PT sample is as a 2mL concentrate.
Sample preparation
1) Partially fill a 1000mL volumetric flask with reagent-grade water (near 20°C) and add 1ml of 1N NaOH.
2) Open ampule PE1147-2ML and transfer 1.0mL of concentrate to the volumetric flask.
3) Fill the flask to volume with reagent-grade water and mix well.
4) The sample is now ready for immediate analysis.
