Twosamplersareavailable.OnesamplerhasthreetubeadapterscompatIBLewith12mL,20mL,or60mLpolypropyleneSPEtubes.Simultaneousextractionof12samplesona12-portVisiprepmanifoldrequiresfourofthesesamplers.Theothersamplerhasfourtubeadaptersfor3mLor6mLSPEtubes.Tosimultaneouslyextract12samples,threesamplersarerequired.
Thesamplersconsistof1/8-inchPTFEtubingwithascrewfittingatoneendandastainlesssteelweightattheotherend.Tousethesampler,feedtheweightedendintoasamplecontaineruntilittouchesthebottom.InsertthetubeadaptersintotheconditionedSPEtubesonyourVisiprepmanifold.TurnonthevacuumtotheVisiprepmanifoldandopenthemanifoldflowcontrolvalves,andthesampleswillbedeliveredtotheSPEtubes.Theflowrateofsamplethrougheachtubecanbeindependentlycontrolledbyusingtheflowcontrolvalves.BoththescrewfittingsandthePTFEtubingonthesamplersarecolorcodedforeasysampleidentification.
